Surf’s Up: Typhoon Lagoon H2O Glow Nights Review

Perhaps one of the best hidden gems, that isn’t really hidden at all, are Disney’s water parks. Before this summer, I had never been to either and didn’t see much of a reason to go.

I thought: I can stay on site and use the pool at my hotel. Or ride a water ride in the parks. Why do I need to pay more money to go to a water park?

A Totally Awesome Stay: Disney’s Pop Century Resort Review

Before April of this year, I was a strong advocate of staying off site to save money. Staying off property wasn’t a priority or focus for me, because I spend most of my time in the parks and the price point was just too much higher compared to some place off site.

That all changed after I stayed at Pop Century at the end of April.

Review of Every Marvel Movie in Timeline Order (Best Order to Watch Marvel)

March Madness is over, and we’re in full Marvel Madness mode now. It’s been Avengers this and Thanos that for the past several weeks (I’m just as guilty of this as anyone) in anticipation of Avengers: Endgame.

To prepare for the movie myself, I decided to watch every move in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and do it in timeline order. It’s about two days worth of movies if watched back to back with no breaks. I took a month (mid-March to mid-April, mostly watching the movies on weekends).

I actually bought all the movies I didn’t already own (most of them) on Amazon to do this. It cost me nearly $300 to do it and I have no regrets. Watching every movie was exactly what I needed to do to get even more hyped about the upcoming Endgame movie and the future of the MCU.

A Disney Remake That Struggled to Fly: Dumbo (2019) Movie Review

Continuing its live-action trend, Disney released Dumbo on March 27th, 2019 and it might just be the most underwhelming Disney movie release of the year.

With everyone currently hyped about Toy Story 4, the Lion King live action remake, and, of course, Avengers Endgame, there just wasn’t much room to hype over and take interest in Dumbo. I’d say that’s definitely been seen in the media coverage and other reviews posted since the movie premiered. It definitely did not overwhelm me.
