Only One Day at Disney World? Here’s How to Create Your Game Plan

The most common question I see posted on social media and that gets asked to me in person is “I’m going to Disney for just one day, how do I make the most of it? What should I do?” The reason for only having one day is not so relevant, but it’s usually do having other trip plans, only being in the area for a short time, or cost.

The first thing to do is accept that you will not see everything, even in one park, during your one-day visit to the happiest and most magical place on Earth. You can come close, and you can see the most important/highlight attractions in a park and even in multiple parks.

Here’s how I would approach a game plan and what I advise others when they ask this common question.

I’ll walk through each of my expenses for my trip in general and also my Dapper Day outfits in this post!

I’ll start by talking about the trip basics/essentials – flight, hotel, transportation, park tickets – and then go into expenses while I’m on the trip and end with the cost of my Dapper Day outfits.

5 Marvel Movies You Need to Watch Before Watching Avengers Endgame

It’s almost time. Time to do whatever it takes to avenge the fallen and stop Thanos – if that’s even possible. Avengers: Endgame comes out on Thursday, April 25th and the world is anxiously waiting to see what is packed into those 3 hours and 2 minutes (yes, it’s that long).

There’s lots of talk about re-watching and getting caught up on the past Marvel movies before the new movie comes out. Some are doing full re-watches of the entire timeline (myself included), and others are just going back through their favorites. Obviously watching all of the movies is a great idea any time, but time is running out at this point and you also may not want to invest in getting some you don’t already own.

So, if you want to watch the essential movies that will provide the most context and help you understand what is likely to happen in Endgame, I’ve got you covered. Of course this is all based on Infinity War and what is expected to happen/continue; Marvel could throw us off and change this up on us once the movie is out.

These 5 movies will help you understand the state of things currently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, know the relationships that exist, and get to know key players in the movie.

Review of Every Marvel Movie in Timeline Order (Best Order to Watch Marvel)

March Madness is over, and we’re in full Marvel Madness mode now. It’s been Avengers this and Thanos that for the past several weeks (I’m just as guilty of this as anyone) in anticipation of Avengers: Endgame.

To prepare for the movie myself, I decided to watch every move in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and do it in timeline order. It’s about two days worth of movies if watched back to back with no breaks. I took a month (mid-March to mid-April, mostly watching the movies on weekends).

I actually bought all the movies I didn’t already own (most of them) on Amazon to do this. It cost me nearly $300 to do it and I have no regrets. Watching every movie was exactly what I needed to do to get even more hyped about the upcoming Endgame movie and the future of the MCU.
