How to Use Uber Around Disney World and Universal Orlando as an Alternative to On-Site Transportation

Earlier this week, Universal Orlando and Uber jointly announced they would be implementing a $4 fee for all pick-up rides from their theme parks.

This comes after Universal recently added a new rideshare pick up area inside their parking garage, as opposed to sharing space with the buses and taxi companies.

Which ticket is best for Halloween Horror Nights? My Complete Guide to HHN Tickets and Passes

Halloween Horror Nights is marketed as the “nation’s premier Halloween event.” I’m not one to always share out a company’s media tag on a whim, but in this case, I believe that is 100% true.

HHN at Universal Orlando is the best theme park event I’ve ever been to. They have the best haunted houses I’ve ever seen (and I’m counting scare zones in that). And you get many of the regular theme park attractions for your price of admission. You can’t beat this deal.

Tickets for HHN may seem straightforward to some. They have single night tickets that you can buy online or in-person at the gate. But if you do either of those options, you’re probably losing money and/or you’re not getting much done.

Like with any theme park vacation these days, you have to do a bit of research to make sure you are are being the most effective and planning ahead to make best use of your time. Fortunately, this guide will break down all the prices and help you start to do the math for your own trip.

Aside from the essential expenses like travel, lodging, and park access, the next expense that you have to spend money on and is almost as essential is dining. You have a lot of options when it comes to dining, however, and you don’t even have to buy it in the parks. Personally, I’ve never been a fan of buying groceries or packing in meals to the parks – so in this post I will share my top low-cost places to eat in each Disney World theme park.

You really don’t have to worry too much about sacrificing quality when you eat at a lower-cost dining location. Disney food is great where ever you get it from (if you like the food on the menu). You can also get your dietary needs met anywhere – Disney dining is well-known for providing gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and keto friendly options anywhere – among any other dietary restrictions you need to meet.
