[FIRST LOOK] Holiday Details at Universal Orlando Revealed

We have our first look at how Universal Orlando will be celebrating the holiday season!

As we still wander our way through haunted houses and scare zones at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, the resort has revealed their plans to celebrate the upcoming holiday season. Overall, we are seeing a return to pre-pandemic celebrations for 2021.

Universal Orlando’s holiday celebrations will run from November 13 to January 2, leaving plenty of time to celebrate all the holidays during that period.

As mentioned, we are seeing the return of some crowd favorites for the holiday season, including:

Christmas in the Wizarding World

Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley in Universal Studios will be decorated in full holiday spirit, showing off the Christmas celebrations we know and love from the Harry Potter franchise.

Returning this year, “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” will once again light up the wizardry school with projections and music each night.

Grinchmas show returns

The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular show will return to Islands of Adventure in Seuss Landing, with multiple show times each day.

In addition to the show, you can find Grinch characters around Seuss Landing throughout the day for meetings and photo ops.

Universal’s Holiday Parade & Macy’s balloons return

While they never truly left, last year they were only on display in a sound stage as a walk through experience. This year, the full holiday parade featuring actual balloons from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade will once again go through the streets of Universal Studios. This is one of my personal favorites of the holiday season at theme parks and I can’t wait to see the parade again!

You’ll also find festive decor, dining options, and other shows throughout the Universal Orlando resort to celebrate the holidays.
